A few things to take with you

  • Choose by the activities you want: geothermal scenery, mud bathing or gardens and waterfall viewing.
  • Bathing is prohibited in Diamond Falls; its mineral baths are a separate option.
  • Our Private Tour includes Diamond Botanical Gardens, the volcano and mud bath, with pickup and return.

Begin with the experience you want

Saint Lucia Tourism Authority describes Sulphur Springs as a geothermal attraction near Soufrière, with a guided landscape visit and nearby mud baths. You might come for the steaming landscape, the bathing experience or both. Our Half Day tour offers a mud bath or volcano visit, while Land & Sea and Private Tour include both.

Diamond’s official website describes a botanical garden setting with a waterfall and mineral baths. It offers another way to spend time in the Soufrière area. If plants, a garden walk and viewing a waterfall are your main interests, start the conversation there. Ask about the route and facilities that will suit the people in your group.

Can you swim at Diamond Falls?

Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens explicitly prohibits bathing in the waterfall. Its Things to Do page directs visitors who want to bathe to separate public or private mineral baths, available for an additional fee. A plan to see the waterfall therefore needs a separate discussion if you also want time in those baths.

On our Private Tour, you can enjoy Diamond Botanical Gardens and the mud bath at Sulphur Springs in the same day. If Diamond’s mineral baths also interest you, ask our team about the options while planning. We’ll help you understand how the different experiences fit your day without rushing from one water activity to another.

Picture the pace of each visit

A garden visit invites you to notice foliage, flowers and the waterfall setting. The volcanic landscape draws your attention to steam, pale ground and the guide’s explanation of what lies beneath. Both give your photographs a different character, and the mud baths add a playful shared moment to the outing.

Tell us how you like to spend time at a stop: taking pictures, listening to the guide or enjoying a slower look around. We can talk through the day, including changing for the mud bath and traveling between attractions. It is also helpful to know if someone in your group prefers to stay out of the water.

Choose one focus, or plan both deliberately

For a shorter outing, name your strongest interest and ask which plan gives it enough time. You might want a close look at geothermal features, a mud-bath experience or a garden visit with waterfall viewing. A well-chosen single destination can give you room to pause, take photographs and listen to the guide without watching the clock throughout.

If you want both destinations, our Private Tour brings Diamond Botanical Gardens, the volcano and mud bath together with Creole lunch and snorkeling. Hotel or cruise pickup and return, water and snacks are included. Share any walking or participation needs with us so we can discuss the practical arrangements for your group.

Bring both experiences into your island day

Private Tour is a full-day outing at US$165 per person for your own group. Tell us your preferred date, hotel or cruise location and the number of people coming. Our team will help arrange the day and confirm pickup, giving you a clear plan for enjoying the gardens, volcanic scenery and water experiences together.

Visit Diamond’s official website, linked below, for its garden photographs and current visitor information. If you would like help choosing between the destinations or combining them in your tour, we’re here to talk through the options.
