Pack for the mud, the water and the ride back
Our practical packing list is deliberately small. Keep wet items separate from what you want to wear for lunch or the journey back.
- Dark swimwear you do not mind marking, plus a towel. Keep your favourite pale swimsuit for another day.
- Dry clothes and a bag for damp swimwear and towels.
- Comfortable footwear for the visitor route, steps and transfers; ask what works best for your particular itinerary.

They are two different experiences: warm-water bathing with volcanic mud, and a guided look at the steaming landscape. Our Half Day tour offers a choice of one; our Land & Sea and Private Tour include both.
Should I bring my own towel?
Yes, bring a towel, dry clothes and a bag for wet items. Dark swimwear is a good choice for the mud baths.
Do your mud bath tours include pickup and drop-off?
