Planning a Sulphur Springs visit with kids

Make your Sulphur Springs family day fit the people coming with you. The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority includes Sulphur Springs and the mud baths among its family experiences. Share your children’s ages and practical needs with our team so we can discuss participation, transport and the activities that suit your plans. A clear, unhurried outing is especially welcome during a summer break or autumn school holiday.

A few things to take with you

  • Confirm participation rules using each child’s actual age and planned activities.
  • Arrange transport, supervision and non-participation options before the visit.
  • Allow time for changing, food and the journey back when choosing the tour length.

Share ages and practical needs early

Tell us who is traveling, including each child’s age. That helps us discuss the current participation rules for the volcanic visit, mud baths, waterfall and any boat activities you are considering. It also gives our team a better sense of the outing your family is looking forward to.

Share the practical details that shape your day: a stroller, a usual rest time, difficulty with steps, or a child who prefers to watch water activities. Let us know about any needed child restraint so we can discuss whether it must be reserved or supplied by you. Bags and stroller space can be covered in the same conversation.

Choose the length of the day before adding stops

Start with when your family would like to return. Our team can discuss the expected time away from your accommodation, including travel, changing and Creole lunch. Share any fixed evening plans so we can help you choose between a shorter outing and a full day of experiences.

Choose one main experience and make additional stops earn their place. If the children are most interested in the mud baths, ask how a shorter outing could focus on that. If everyone wants a varied day, discuss the transfers between activities as carefully as the activities themselves. Leave enough time to get dry and gather belongings without making the next stop feel like a deadline.

Agree what happens when someone wants to watch

Talk through the options with your children before departure. Describe the plan in simple steps, and make room for a different decision on arrival. Ask our team where someone who is not taking part can wait and whether an accompanying adult is required there. Adults remain responsible for supervising their children while the guide leads the group.

When adults plan to take turns, agree who stays with each child and where the group reunites. Ask whether splitting participation changes the ticketing or schedule. This makes the arrangement clear before anyone is already changing clothes. Photos of other children enjoying an activity do not establish your child’s eligibility or preferences, and they should not become a reason to pressure participation.

Pack around changing and getting home

Make a small bundle for each person: the clothing needed for the activity, a towel and a dry change for afterward. Separate clean clothes from damp items. Our team can help with questions about equipment, changing facilities and where belongings stay. Keep the things needed first easy to reach so the whole bag does not need unpacking at every stop.

Creole lunch, water and snacks are included in our tours. Share dietary requirements with us and ask about the meal timing and food options for your family. Carry any other essentials you need for the journey and a bag for rubbish. Having those small details ready leaves more attention for the outing itself.

Finish with a simple confirmation

We’ll help you bring the family details together: everyone traveling, any applicable child pricing, pickup, activities and return arrangements. Our team can also explain the terms for weather-related changes. Share our contact number with every adult so it is easy to stay in touch during the day.

Choose our Half Day tour for a shorter outing, or explore the full-day options if your family wants more time together around the island. Private Tour is for your own group; tell us about your preferred pace and any special requests while planning. A day everyone understands is a good place to start making memories.
