Our Applause - All Good Things!

We arranged this trip before we arrived.

Treasure tours got the business because they answered emails quickly and had a great trip rating. I always worry when you read such great trip reports, have they got a large family etc?? But I can confirm the day is brilliant from beginning to end and I'm not related!! The boat trip out is pleasant with soft drinks handed out freely, we were escorted by dolphins for some of the way which was thrilling to see. There isn't a lot of driving on the tour so you won't spend hours in a car. This means time at the attractions. The staff are knowledgable and have a great way with them, truly lovely people. The Pitons, the mud bath, the waterfall, the gardens are amazing and made better by the fact that you are walked past the big tours with there vast numbers and straight into the attractions like royalty. A special mention has to go to the lunch. It's local fair cooked by the mother of the tour owner and was simply delicious. In fact everyone went back for seconds, which speaks volumes. On the way back the 20 mins of snorkelling was brilliant and then out comes the rum punch and a party atmosphere magically happens with non dancers like me dancing around until all too soon you are back at port and on your way to your hotel.

I was hesitant - but glad I experienced the mud bath! Our tour guide Charkar did a great job navigating our group through the short tour of Soufriere and the drive in volcano. She encouraged and made sure we experienced all aspects of the bath, sulfur springs and showers. it really does rejuvenate your skin. Glad our friends talked me into it!

We spent the day touring a volcano, mud bath and the botanical gardens with Charkar. She was very friendly and informative at all three stops. We then had lunch at a local restaurant, Marie's Local Cuisine, which was delicious and very affordable. A great way to spend a day touring St Lucia.

We were able to book Treasure Tours very easily online and get ample information from emails and phone calls.

We had a private car from our resort to the boat dock and then met Charkar in Soufriere. She took us in her car past the volcano to the waterfall and mud bath.

It was a great private experience and I was so glad we didn't have the crowd of people on a bus, it was just us! We also went to a local restaurant for lunch near the botanical gardens. We had a great time! I highly recommend Charkar and her awesome Treasure Tour business. She is very sweet and has a wonderful relaxing personality.

Ask for Charker, she's the best, very knowledgeable about the island. Had fun at the waterfalls and then off to an undescribeable mud bath. The mud bath is a must do in St. Lucia! Delicious chicken and grilled tuna for lunch. Chakar makes sure the catamaran ride gets you back to the ship in time with a little snorkeling on the way. Fun way to see the Piton Mountains, another must do in St. Lucia. Cruising with family and all 3 generations enjoyed this tour. Enjoying our banana ketchup and hot sauces!!!
